These helpful tips and tricks will ensure you get the most from your Ootsie wax melts:
MELTING
Remove from packaging, snap off one cube and place in your warmer, one cube is ample to fill a medium to large size room. Place the remaining cubes back into the packaging and store in a cool, dry place.
If any dust or debris gathers on the wax be sure to clean from the surface before your next melt.
Discontinue use when less than half of the wax remains or when the wax is no longer releasing a scent.
CLEANING
When the wax is no longer releasing a scent and it is time to clean out the remaining wax from the dish, choose from one of the following methods to remove the used wax:
Hot method - if your warmer has been on the the wax is liquid take two or three cotton balls, set them in the warmer, let it absorb and then discard the cotton balls into the bin. Take a paper towel and wipe the little bit of remaining wax.
Cold method - if the wax has cooled down and hardened, relight the tealight or turn the warmer back on and leave for 1-2minutes to warm the wax slightly. Blow out candle/switch off warmer. By warming the wax up again the melt will loosen and will slide out in a solid, single piece. Bin this piece and use a paper towel to wipe the residue.
